Welcome to the VBPD National Night Out Event Registration form. Residents and business owners are encouraged to register their National Night Out events to better facilitate our resources and send officers to events around the city.

Event coordinators that register their National Night Out event by July 1, 2025 will be notified of the VBPD resources attending their event by July 14, 2025. The final deadline to register your National Night Out event with VBPD is July 22, 2025.

Important: Registering your event with VBPD does not negate the need for a permit, if required. Events with the following features may need a permit from the Resort Management Office (RMO):

• Stages larger than 256 square feet and taller than three inches.
• Open flames.
• Road closures.
• Amusement/inflatable rides.
• Charging for food, preparing raw (not frozen) food.
• A permit may be needed if the event attendance is over 200 people consecutively.
