PURPOSE: To officially recognize an individual whose service to seniors is exceptional. The service or initiative must extend significantly beyond the requirements of employment duties and responsibilities.

CRITERIA: The nominee must be a resident of / or operational in the City of Virginia Beach. An exceptional contribution is a new or continuing initiative undertaken to expand, improve or establish programs that benefit our senior population. The contribution must have occurred within the year prior to the nomination.

NOMINATION INSTRUCTIONS: Please complete this form as concisely as possible, as only the information provided on the form is reviewed. The award presentation will take place at the Commission’s Annual Senior Showcase on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the Princess Anne Recreation Center, 1400 Nimmo Parkway, Virginia Beach.

The deadline for accepting nominations is April 30, 2025.
