The Virginia Beach Office of Emergency Management works with residents, homeowners associations, civic groups, nonprofits, faith-based organizations and houses of worship, and businesses throughout the City to strengthen the community’s emergency preparedness. Staff from the Office of Emergency Management is available to deliver emergency preparedness presentations to community organizations and homeowners associations, work with businesses/nonprofits, and set up emergency preparedness exhibits at local festivals and fairs.
