The Virginia Beach Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is a positive youth development program that partners with local businesses, agencies and organizations to provide VB youth and young adults ages 16-21 with paid, work experiences for 8 weeks of the summer (June 16 – August 6, 2025).

The feedback you provided on the SYEP Recommendation Form is needed to properly locate a successful job placement for each young person. Please take the time to answer each question fully.
